KOICA ODA Project Training Report: Empowering Cooperatives in Thai Nguyen with Digital Marketing

On September 11, 2025, Feedforce Vietnam organized a digital marketing training session in Thai Nguyen as part of the KOICA ODA Project. The program was designed to equip members of local cooperatives and small enterprises with practical skills to promote their agricultural products online.

Training Objectives

The training aimed to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to:

  • Understand key social media platforms and their role in agricultural sales.
  • Build and manage business accounts effectively.
  • Conduct market research to identify demand and competitors.
  • Create engaging content and manage customer interactions.
  • Run small-scale, measurable ad campaigns on Facebook, TikTok, and Zalo.

Program Highlights

The full-day program was divided into six sessions:

  1. Understanding the Market & Platforms – Comparing Facebook, TikTok, and Zalo, focusing on audience demographics, platform features, and payment methods.
  2. Creating Business Accounts – Setting up Zalo Official Accounts, Facebook Pages, and TikTok Shop.
  3. Market Research – Using tools such as Google Trends, TikTok hashtags, and Facebook Insights for competitor and demand analysis.
  4. Content Management – Planning a simple posting calendar, managing comments, and tracking engagement.
  5. Advertising & Promotion – Introduction to Facebook Ads, Zalo Ads, TikTok Ads, and how to collaborate with KOLs/KOCs.
  6. Success Stories & Q&A – Sharing relatable examples and addressing participant questions.
We also had a fun quiz competition

On-site Impressions

The session welcomed around dozens of cooperative members, some bringing their own laptops and smartphones, while others used devices provided on site to actively join the hands-on activities. Participants explored how to apply digital tools to their own products, from keyword research to drafting posts. The engagement was high, and the practical nature of the training allowed participants to immediately practice what they learned.

Closing Remarks

This training in Thai Nguyen was an important step in strengthening the digital marketing capacity of OCOP cooperatives and small enterprises. The training in Thai Nguyen provided valuable insights and practical learnings for participants, and we remain committed to supporting local cooperatives in their digital journey.
